Back to School

So, looks like everyone in this house will be going to school pretty soon.
Aiden was supposed to start pre-k in the beginning of Sept but now its being pushed to Oct due to paperwork. He will be going half-days, 5 days a week.
Keegan will be going to PT for his leg...so thats like a school for him! =)
Todd is currently enrolled in Flight School. He is going to get his private pilot's license. He is also going back to school to finish his Bachelors, but he will probably wait until Flight School ends in November to do that.
I am going back to school in January to get my MA in Early Childhood Education @ Ashford University Online. I already have my BS in Early Childhood SPED so I am also leaning towards the possiblity of getting my MA in Curriculum and Instruction. I have a few months to decide though!
We are all pretty excited about school, and luckily for us the Air Force makes this all possible, and we don't have to worry about the financial aspect of it for the most part!

Everyday Happening

Today the weather outside is absolutely perfect, its 70* with clear, sunny skies. Our adventure to the park will begin after naptime...or rest time as we call it since Aiden doesn't know what the word NAP means! Although I thought for sure he was going to nap today, since we had a complete melt down at the library today...the poor kid didn't want to leave, but who would, they had 2 lego tables, a magnetic car table, a puzzle table, busy beads and tons of books!
We are all getting excited about our up and coming trip to RI in Dec! I told Aiden he is going for his birthday and every morning he has been waking up, asking if its his birthday and singing Happy Birthday to himself! Its really cute...but the sad part is I have another 70 days of him singing to himself! LOL!
This past weekend we went to the White Sands Hot Air Balloon Invitational. It was a blast. I got everyone in the house up around 6am to get there for 7am, which of course turned into 730am! But it felt GREAT to wake the kids up...and when they both fussed at my waking them up, I ever so lovinly said "How does it feel to be woken up, sweetie?" I loved it...give them a taste of thier own medicine. Anyways, the hot air balloons were fabulous and we had a great time. We went down to the main deck and were smoozing with all the people who worked there, we don't even know if we were allowed to be there, but as a result we got free coffee & donuts and a free ride in the hot air balloon for all 4 of us...of course it was tethered but it was still fun!
This up coming weekend we are going to Oktoberfest. This base also houses the German Air Force so we will be having a proper Oktoberfest in the German Hanger. They are flying in beer, food and entertainment the night before the festivities being. The kids and I won't be staying as long as Todd since it doesn't end until way past the kids bed time.
There are lots of upcoming Fall Festivies here in Alamogordo and surrounding areas. I still can't believe how many people said this base was horrible and that we'd hate it here....when in fact we love it!
Perfect timing- the kiddos are done with thier nap- aka Keegan is awake and Aiden is saying "Good Morning Aiden, How'd you sleep?" So its off to the park we go on this wonderful day!

A Nobel Attempt

So I have decided to create this blog inorder to keep family & close friends in the loop as to what is going on in our lives. I will hopefully give regular updates on the boys and will some how figure out how to post pictures! I know that we live miles away, and not everyone has a facebook to see my updates or pics, so I figured this would be the best way. I hope to keep this up and write atleast on a weekly basis.
